Attorney Daniel F. Brookman practices law in and around the southern California area as well as throughout the United States and several foreign countries. His emphasis is in the area of Criminal Law. Mr. Brookman has represented thousands of clients over a varied and colorful career. His high profile clients have included the late drug guru Dr. Timothy Leary and actor Robert Downey Jr.

Mr. Brookman is an acknowledged expert in the fields of alcohol and drug related crimes and rehabilitation and intervention therapies. He is also an expert in Search and Seizure Law as well as alternative programs for offenders. As a frequently sought-after public speaker and commentator, he has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, Central and South America. Mr. Brookman has appeared numerous times in both print and electronic media, including People and US Weekly magazines, a feature on the Today Show with Connie Chung, and Inside Edition.

Mr. Brookman graduated from California State University Northrdige in 1969 (BA, Political Science) and Southwestern University School of Law in 1972 (Juris Doctor). He entered private practice after Law School in 1972, and has offices in Santa Monica, California.

An avid surfer, he resides in California with his wife and three sons.
